This Cisco SG200 series switch comes equipped with 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports and features combo mini-GBIC ports supporting both Gigabit Ethernet and mini-GBIC/SFP connection options. Additionally, eight of the network ports support 62W of PoE power to run devices such as IP phones, access points, and other PoE compatible equipment.
Setup and configuration of the SG200-10FP network switch is simple thanks to the web-based interfaces. Other features including Cisco Discovery Protocol and Link Layer Discovery Protocol assist in the detection and configuration of new devices as they are connected to the network. Security has also been ramped up as this switch supports the 802.1X port security protocol and employs denial-of-service (DOS) attack prevention capabilities to help increase network uptime.
